I have been studying the book The Mission Driven Life... reading it has made a huge difference for me. A few months ago I complained that I was getting tired of toeing the line - you know being consistent in things and doing my best, etc. I wondered why it mattered as so many others around me don’t do these things and they seem happy enough. Well, I found the answer as I read the book Mission Driven Life. It is found in Law 2, Love of Self. It matters because it is a way to love ourselves. As we manage our heart and mind it magnifies us as daughters of God and it engenders confidence in self. That is what I needed. A reason to be consistent and go above and beyond other than that everyone says it leads to worldly success. That just wasn’t enough for me. But loving myself, just becoming better for the sake of that love, now I can go with that. : )

I am reading your 7 laws book for a second time to see the examples you gave of how people created purposefully life missions. This quote you said in your book inspired me to focus on creating more personal growth in myself in order to reach my goals. “You are called to lead through your on-going personal growth and vigilance in the laws.” Goals like: Read more books, associate with more like minded people that will support my goals and attend events where I can practice what I learn. I will try to figure out what laws I need to follow in order to gain the wisdom to meet those goals. This is a start!
